Just in case this wasn’t obvious enough to most players, the intro sequence for Filia starts off with one of the best parodies of all time.
The “Madman’s Cafe” (Done by the talented oh8) is a direct and awesomely done parody of Edward Hopper’s famous “Nighthawks” cafe painting. (Depicted below, painted in 1942)Just a fun fact from an art student who giggled much too hard when he saw this. Also a main reason why I chose Filia, simply because a 1940’s schoolgirl fighter was too hard to pass up.
Hay all! Its been a while hasn’t it? Its a lot of moving and family stuff happening as of late. This month has been busy busy busy! So I haven’t been able to post at all!

Down side, there is no BigBand. Since I was away for a good portion of the month I’m not sure if I have enough ink to print him. Hopefully I can print these guys too! We’ll see this weekend at Fanime!
One of the posters (WIP) for a sketch commission booth at school this Friday. We’re having some festival (convention?) for many kinds of cultures, and I’m in the team that manages the Japanese gallery.
